I like your show, but you are so misinformed on DRIC. So, we should walk over our best ally just to keep the monopoly for a rich billionaire? That makes no sense. Tax no Michigan taxpayer dollars will be expended on the DRIC bridge, not a penny.
The people who use the DRIC bridge will pay for it. The toll revenue from vehicles that cross the bridge will pay for its construction. In addition, the Canadian government has offered to fund the construction of the bridge plaza and the freeway connection on the U.S. side of the border.
